‘Germany wants more Afghans return’
KABUL –
The German government wants more refugees from Afghanistan to return to their homeland. Berlin does not exclude that this group of asylum-seekers financial support. That has minister of the Interior Thomas de Maizière said Monday during a visit to Afghanistan.
De Maizière wants to Afghans who have little chance of getting asylum in Germany, to encourage a voluntary return to parts of Afghanistan that are considered to be safe. These people may have a amount of money of Germany get to live their lives in Afghanistan to rebuild, the minister said. Afghans who return you can claim the expenses for the return trip.
,,Of course, is the security situation in Afghanistan is complicated,” said De Maizière. ,,But Afghanistan is a large country. There are safe and unsafe to share. Most people who go to Germany come, don’t do that for security reasons, but because they have a better future.”
