Ford C-Max and Grand C-Max have been redesigned

Ford has the new C-Max series is proposed. The 5 – and 7-seater debut at the salon of Paris.

Following In the footsteps of the S-Max has Ford’s new familiegezicht also translated to the MPV from the brand. The C-Max, which in 2003 was introduced, and of which 1.2 million are sold, has a trapezoidal grille and got a set of slimmer headlights fitted. In the onderbumper, new rectangular fog lamps are placed. The C-Max is available with LED-dagverlichting, Bi-Xenon HID headlamps and Adaptive Front Lighting System of Ford, where the angle of the beam is matched to one of seven available settings, depending on road conditions.

More EcoBoost, more TDCi

In the hood the C-Max and the zevenzits Grand C-Max are now fitted with Ford’s new 1.5-engines EcoBoost and TDCi engines. The four-cylinder gasoline burns delivers 150 or 182 hp. The dieselvariant is good for 95 or 120 hp. Ford says that there is also an ECOnetic version of the dieslemotor, with CO2 emissions expected to be 99 g/km (for the 5-seater C-Max). The 1.0-liter EcoBoost with 100 or 125 horsepower remains optional.

Inside was the dashboard on the kick. The sea of buttons was partly replaced by an 8-inch touchscreen, and is extended with Ford’s voice connectiviteitssysteem SYNC 2. Navigate can with the kaartendienst LORD, the jewel of Nokia. Other novelties are the hands free opening tailgate and a new automatic inparkeersysteem.

His debut is next month at the motor show, a sales we have until the beginning of next year to expect.
