Still fifty to go and they are in ein-the-body through. After eight years, the four-hundredth Veyron sold, and may the countdown begin. *Plop*.

The total production of the Veyron, including special editions, limited to 450 pieces. Number four hundred is actually a Grand Sport Vitesse from the Legend series, dedicated to Jean-Pierre Wimille, and is destined for the sandbox of the Middle East. Not exactly the first from Molsheim in that direction. Price tag of this exclusive roadrunner? 2,13 million ex taxes.

All figures at a glance: since 2005, sold the French car manufacturer all 300 coupémodellen and 100 of the 150 roadsters. Correct: the fifty ‘leftover’ Veyrons are homeless. But fifty pieces of what is currently the fastest roadster in the world. Sounds like ‘sold’.

Bugatti is not averse to a bit of zelfbevlekking and we of wc-duck and calls the Veyron “one of the most technologically sophisticated huzarenstukjes from the automobielhistorie”. Truth as a cow? Or earlier a little excessive?
