What fun it has Honda patented?

It seems that the Japanese have something beautiful in store for us.

A little wild speculation is fun, but the most realistic options are (in fairly random order):

• A special version of the NSX, perhaps a roadster.
• A pumped-S660.
• The long-awaited successor of the S2000 with mid-engine, rear.

Granted: options 2 and 3 show some overlap. Option 1 is the most likely, but the front and the booty on the patenttekeningen exhibit strong differences with the original. Who knows may say so, but the most fervently hope we will be on a NSX Type-R or, indeed, a spiritual successor to the S2000. But with an atmospheric V-TEC please.
