I think we have here the ultimate leasetopper-recipe for 2015 to tackle. Get acquainted with the Passat GTE; 7% additional tax liability and high performance.
215 hp
The Passat GTE is following in the footsteps of the Golf GTE. A plug-in hybrid, which in contrast to the Gulf, it is not yet positioned along a GTI and GTD. Subcutaneous is the Passat with a plug not much more than its smaller sibling. In the forepeak is the same 1.4 TSI with 150 hp and 250 Nm as in the Golf GTE. In the Passat is that combined with a slightly stronger electric motor, good for 115 hp and 400 Nm. The combined power output of 215 hp. Who the gas fully horn can be partly thanks to the DSG gearbox 0-100 km/h sprint drop in less than 8 seconds. The top is a neat 220 km/h.
50 km electric, 1000 km range
Commuting do you do with a bit of luck, fully electric. Quiet directors would, in theory, 50 miles without a drop of gasoline can drive, and the 1.4 TSI assist and the radius of action of 1000 km can make. The battery that is in the Passat under the rear seat, has a capacity of 9.9 kWh. That is 1.2 kWh larger than that in the Gulf. Full recharge takes according to Volkswagen at a regular outlet is 4.5 hours. A charging station on power should be the thing in 2.5 hours full get.
Blue
The Passat GTE which comes as a sedan and station is identified by blue piping in the front grille, other bumpers and C-shaped LED daytime running lights. A lot sportier than a regular Passat, it looks not even visible tailpipes lacks this hybrid. In the interior we find blue mood lighting, blue stitching, blue accents, and, of course, gestrooi with GTE badges.
45g/km and 7% tax
The most important thing for the business driver is, of course, that the GTE when in the second half of 2015 comes on the market, only 7% additional tax liability. That he are due to the emissions of 45g/km and a theoretical consumption of 2.0 l/100km. May we get again the Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV scenes, for that 7% additional tax applies probably not more for delivery in 2016. Quickly order!
