Or it’s better to have him in a garage? No, a solid cabinet is sufficient.

We have here a replica to scale in the most pure sense of the word. Coming from the Toronto-based Collector Studio, a shop full of memorabilia from the sport. A mecca for the wealthy collector of objects from the racing heritage, such as the last helmet of Senna, a jacket & tie by Enzo Ferrari, and the original booklets of the Alfa 8C, to name but a few.

Our eye fell on the 1/8 scale models all other models pale in comparison. In particular, this replica of the Alfa 8C 2300 Monza of 1931. The level of detail of this structure is really bizarre. There is use made of the same materials as in the original (copper and glass) and the whole consists of no less than 6200 components. Even the cabling is imitated and in the car processed, as well as a replica of the instrument cluster with two keys. Further, with screws assembled, glue is not only.

You’ve got it; the attention to detail is high. So high, that even the number of turns of the central wheel nut matches the original. And with the build of the engine and gearbox to the block for the reverse gear is not forgotten.

Owner Morry Barmak explains in this article what type of customers come to shop, or a replica order of their own classic. That are customers with money and extremely high requirements, which makes the asking price of 65,000 Canadian dollars for this 8C not so very crazy sounds.
