The transition of Sebastian Vettel to Ferrari was not the only thing in the paddock the past few days in his clutches. More importantly: would typhoon Phanfone strike during the race on the circuit of Suzuka?
The answer was for the full hundred percent: yes, Phanfone struck. The race started behind the Safety Car, but already after two laps, it was decided to the race halt. Also, the restart took place behind the Safety Car, but to 8.45 am (start from 8.00 am to you) the field was finally released. Fernando Alonso was at that time already no longer, because the Spaniard had his Ferrari to the side with an electronic problem.
Nico Rosberg and Lewis Hamilton shared again the sheets and at first it looked like Rosberg, the pressure of his team-mate and great to be able to resist. Halfway through the race came to Hamilton very close, while Rosberg more and more complained about understeer. That gave the Briton the opportunity to be in lap 29 to hit, and with a bold inhaalactie outside, in the first turn in the lead tackle.
The rain came back and the situation on the track was rapidly getting worse, could that the situation in the front of not shaking up. Unfortunately, the venom was ‘m, this time in the tail. Adrian Sutil pushed the wet track and crashed in the bandenstapel, but while the marshalls are bolide tried to remove it, went to Jules Bianchi at the same spot of the track.
The Frenchman collided sideways against the crane and it quickly became clear that something was not quite right was. Bianchi responded after the crash, not on questions of his team and the ambulance had to take him to the medical center to transport. At this moment, it is clear that he was conscious after the crash and that he was taken by ambulance, is transported to the hospital.
The competition was after the crash of Bianchi directly shut down, and eventually it was decided to continue to race. Hamilton picked up the full points, for Rosberg and Vettel.
