Jaguar pulls out al the stops with its new XE, which comes with 5 motoriseringen and eight trim levels. But the price is also a little bit competitive?

Says you, but…Jaguar the Netherlands, the entry-level price at just under 40 mille, for 39.990 euro to buy the most bare-bones XE. For comparison: in germany, this is 36.450 EUR, the British pay from 26.995 GBP for their D-segmenter.

Buyers can choose from 2 diesel and 3 benzinevarianten. The PSA 2.2 diesel was chart thrown, and made place for a 2.0 Ingenium Diesel, with to desire, 163 (380 Nm) and 180 hp (430 Nm). In the lightest variant punch this 99 map per kilometre.

Benzinerijders do it with a 2.0 turbo 200 or 240 hp supplies. Do you want to per se more cylinders, than is the XE S, with its 340 hp 3.0 V6 Supercharged is the only option.

The XE is available with manual zesbak, or an 8-speed automatic, and has a kerbweight from 1.550 kg [MT] or 1.565 kg [AT]. The funny thing is that the manual gearbox more economical to extract in the NEDC tests than the automatic transmission, with its extra resist.

Equipment

Jaguar offers in its smallest sedan among other dual-view technology (different image on the screen from other kjkhoeken), a Wi-Fi hotspot, and a Laser Head-Up Display.

The 5 trim levels range from the Pure (entry-level), Prestige (middle of the road, with leather upholstery and phosphor blue ambient lighting), to the Portfolio (the most on the luxury model).

Sports people go for the R-Sport with sportvering and a subtle rear spoiler, or for the top model, the S, with its 20-inch jetsers.
