You think of Aston Martin is likely to cars like the V12 Vantage S, but the British sports car manufacturer wants to take it a bit easier to do. The V12 is gagged, and is in 2020, followed by… electric motors.

Aston Martin is considering an electrical four door on the market with less than 1000 hp, so writes The Telegraph. The reason for this? The average CO2 emissions of the brand should be down, and that is of course the fastest with a fully electric car. Aston Martin has even already have a prototype, so that the engineers can experiment with the weight distribution of the car, reported to CEO Andy Palmer again.

The manufacturer previously used the Cygnet for its CO2 emissions to decrease, but Palmer now wants to be bigger and more impressive tackle. “It is not at Aston Martin, to a diesel engine to use. I also think that we are not the Cygnet had to start. An all-electric Aston Martin seems to me to be very interesting. The fastest Tesla is very popular, so I definitely think there is demand for such a car. We are working on a four-wheel drive Rapide with 1000 electrical horsepower, and already have a prototype.
