Gevalletje world-weariness?

Thanks to a Ukrainian dashcam, we are witnessing a filerijdende Opel/Daewoo in the middle of an intersection decision himself as a Tibetan monk with a mission in letting go. Schluss.

But why is this happening? At first glance, everything seems pretty normal, also the driver seems to be no vin to budge. Then we see some smoke from underneath the car, and then flies the thing on fire. The owner chooses at his dead field to run away and leave his car a nice touch at the intersection. The rest of the world around it just goes by. Nobody pulls a muscle. Only in Ukraine.

Brandstoflek? Mechanical problem? Discarded cigarette butt? Something else? In any case it’s no Tesla, that much is clear. We have the images here, what do you guys think?
