Take your pick: Mercedes GLA 45 AMG vs Tesla Model S

Earlier this week, Mercedes-Benz, the Dutch price is known, the GLA 45 AMG. What is clear: for the same amount to buy a Tesla Model S, but which of the two cars is a better choice?

The Mercedes GLA 45 AMG is not to be sneezed at if you’d like a hot hatch have a little more height than the A-class. With 360 hp and 450 Nm have you on ability not to complain. The starting price is €66.995 for the regular GLA 45, for a Edition 1 you will have a whopping €74.400 changed hands.

For this money you get a car with sporty looks, a bright character if you ask for it, and a vehicle where you you never have have to worry that your tank, provided you time the fuel pump frequenteert.

Tesla

The production option comes in the form of a Tesla Model S. For €66.200 you buy the 60’, with a NEDC range of 390 miles and a 0-100 time of 6.2 seconds. Do you have ‘Edition 1′-money in your pocket, then the ’85’ for €75.800 an option. This car gives you 502 km range, 367 hp and a sprint to 100 in 5.6 seconds.

The Model S is different apart from the price of the GLA: it is a few sizes bigger and it is a sedan. The lack of similarities between the two models makes this, in our humble opinion, this is once again a refreshing ‘pick’. In both cases, help you Mercedes, because the company has a share in Tesla.

So: is the the hot small SUV without the range (and fire-) anxiety, or dominated the luxury and the silence, and you go for a few sizes more with the Model S? Choose but!
