The next-generation GT-R is not only gasoline devoid, the hp’s also come with the help of amperes.
It seems as if Nissan’s us all be careful trying to warm up for the hybrideficatie of the GT-R icon. Had a former Nissan senior executive Andy Palmer already hinting that the next GT-R (R36) electro-support would get, now is the ceo James Oliver, Nissan’s England that exhaust on the sportbak. At Top Gear, he says that they electrification will embrace:
“I think it [a GT-R hybrid] is the obvious direction. There’s been obsessive development of the GT-R over the years, and at some point we will move onto the next generation car. The overall market is looking at different methods of powering cars, and at Nissan we’ve got great expertise and investment of electric. We already have the capability in terms of battery production and electric vehicle technology, so I don’t think it’s a great stretch to think a future performance product would have some of that tech incorporated into it.”
Nissans experience in the EV field, and the increasingly stringent emission eissen make adding elektrokracht indeed a logical choice. We do wonder though whether they do to the GT-R is cheaper to maintain than the competition, with EV-do technology on board. In any form Nissan electrical support is going to add wanted (or could) Oliver not to say. However, we do know that there are capabilities of 800 hp, and we put him in 2017 or 2018, expect.
About the appearance of the next GT-R could Oliver be brief: look at the Nissan Concept 2020 Vision for Gran Turismo 6, which was a design study for the R36.
