Juichaapjes: “each EV contributes €11.000 to EN economy”

Yes, there really is. Cuckoo!
Statistics are something wonderful: someone who wants to prove that (plug-in) electric cars on the Dutch state tons of money costs to lost tax revenues and other blown subsidienonsens can do that by a berekeningetje to BPM and bijtellingsderving.
Despite someone claiming that EV’s the Dutch economy, to understand tons of produce, that can ‘prove’. Just a matter of your parameters change.
In the last week quoted report ‘Redemption verdienpotentieel Electric Transport in the Netherlands’ (PDF), we are thrown to death with graphs and tabelletjes about the sector Electric Transportation and all the small parts.
The economic size of the sector, with the sales volumes, has grown considerably; not only have EV’s components, but also charging infrastructure; a business in which employment is created. So far, So good, and we have calculated to be €120 million of value added in the pocket:
Those who like a little selective with figures deal concludes that the value for the economy per electric car more than 11.000 euros: € 340 million euro gross value added in the years 2008 t/m 2013 compared to the 30,000 sold EV’s. Go figure we have one.
43.000 MIA and Vamil applications
Let the verdienkant a moment to say goodbye, and watch the subsidiekant. With MIA and VAMIL schemes were entrepreneurs in stands for an apple and an egg a thick expensive Tesla Model S to drive. Tesla took the money, however, is in the long term, not the entrepreneur, but the Dutch state (and hence taxpayers) that have the biggest bite pay. In total, only in 2013 to € 1,875 billion (that is 1.875.000.000 euro) in investments, spread over 43.000 requests. Went from 1.35 billion to electric and plug-in hybrid passenger cars (Tesla, Ampera, Fisker), the rest to ‘very fuel-efficient cars’ (CT200h, Prius) and charging points.
Grant infusion
We let the grants and external grants (worth 24 million in 2013), the subsidized jobs in the EV industry, and the Energy investment Deduction (EIA) further apart. In addition, there are, of course, the bijtellingsverliezen, Eric Wiebes, the sleepless nights, the deliver, and the money harder from the public treasury, let leak oil from a Nigerian Shell pipeline. But these amounts are (although big) what is more difficult is hard to quantify. The estimated amount of half a billion euro, however, comes several times back.
We want the pH-value of this article however is not to the level of ‘battery acid’ drop: there are certainly jobs in the elektrificering of the fleet. A tangible example is the planned expansion of Tesla with a second location in Tilburg, although we suspect that more with the central location and favourable tax environment than with the Dutch EV-friendliness.
Hoedtik in the direction of the pink brothers of GeenStijl for the delivery of the term ‘juichaapjes’.
