How many EV’s and PHEV’s are the leasing companies?

With the different bijtellings – and eco-friendly cars in our country, you probably automatically assume that the leasing company in most cases is the owner. The National office for Entrepreneurial Netherlands sought out whether that actually is the case.

Together with the tax authorities looked at the ORGANISATION to whom the different hybrids and electric cars in our country is actually accessories. The starting point was that on 31 december 2014 43.758 (PH)EV’s registered in the Netherlands were.

10.787 pieces, or 24,7% of the total, are registered by a leasing company. That percentage is compared to the previous year, 2.6 percentage points decreased. Please note: the total number of leased cars is higher than these figures suggest. Some lease cars are in the name of the leasende registered company, or even in the name of the business driver itself.

The automobile business (dealers, landlords, garages, etc.) holds approximately 20% of the stekkerauto in our country. Individuals would be good for a percentage of 6%.
