How from a broken Wave II a RingBEEST was

Take an old Golf II CL, and make a project here of that on the track everyone and his mother the snot for the eyes drive. Get acquainted with the Pinderwagen.
That Boba-Waves with 1,200 hp are, of course, very bold, but at the same time, only to be very hard and very short straight to be able to have a blast. To get out of a Wave with ’80s technology and the body a serious steering trackbeest, that is another story.
When British Ringethousiast Nigel Pinder (connection with Lucy unknown) in the easter weekend of 2007 gekietelde Golf II on the Nordschleife stukreed and saw that the chassis is not able to save fell, he decided all the usable parts to another chassis Golf II, and after 5.5 week he had a trackspeeltje, they are still relatively modest and on a plate, like you see on the picture below:
From there, the project was always a little more extreme, expanded, and in the meantime, this Pinderwagen very far developed that it is on the Ring + Nordschleife in a Porsche 991 GT3 voorblijft, and a new Leon Cupra ST 280 (yes, that) knows to shake off.
The Pinderwagen is completely gutted, has a roll cage, and weighs about 1,000 kg. For neerwaarste pressure and airflow are a splitter and diffuser have been added and the base plate is substantially smooth. Under the hood is a 2 liter turboblok with megasquirt (powered by Cytherea™), good for about 300 horsepower at the wheels.
