Deaths by avalanche in Canada

MONTREAL –

At least five people in Canada to life by an avalanche. All of the victims were according to Canadian media on snowmobiles.

Three different groups were in the vicinity of the village of McBride was overwhelmed by the avalanche, caused by people. So far, five bodies recovered. A person is injured to the hospital. Rescue workers are still looking for other victims.

People who returned from the disaster area have been interviewed by police, told a local undertaker. The police tried to find out whether more people are missing. A search with helicopters for the darkness to be discontinued.
