The cake may be out of the refrigerator at the Dutch dealerships. About Q1 2015 was a modest plus listed.
To be honest, should we say that the dealerrendement compared to Q1 2014, but preferably is tenfold. In the first quarter of last year amounted to the return (according to Hans Wiegel to speak as randeman, with a nasal ‘a’) a sneue 0,1%, but Q1 2015 grew percent to a slightly less miserable to be 1.0%. The sales grew over the same period by 11.3%.
That sales a strong plus notes on the one hand, by the attraction of the economy, on the other hand, took the dealer network in size. The revenue per employee grew as well. There is also a point of concern, because the labour costs per employee show a big plus of an average of 14.6%.
Toyota is looking with a nice positive feeling back at the first quarter, but at the same time careful. Major driver of the better numbers is the growing sales of both new (+9,7%) and used cars (+16,3%). The werkplaatsomzet registers a plus of 6%. Sales margins considering all on new and used cars increased by respectively 7.6% and 14%. (Figures via Bovag Industry Barometer)
