Audi will let a self-propelled RS7 los at Hockenheim

Audi has today announced its victory in the final race of the DTM season in an appropriate manner, celebrated, by a self-propelled RS7 round Hockenheim.
The large sedan with a fast roofline named Bobby (no acronym, just a nickname) drove a lap on the famous German circuit, without anyone in the driver’s seat sat. This performance is still a bit handsome, if you consider that the RS7 the round completed on racesnelheid and with a lap time of just over 2 minutes.
Audi makes use of GPS signals to determine the precise position of Bobby to determine, via Wi-fi to the car to be sent. Then, the environment recorded by different cameras to a 3D-image, allowing a computer to inches can accurately determine where the RS7 should go.
Although it is, of course, is that Audi, the whole idea of autonomous cars in this way, the hands and feet, we hope nevertheless that this is a taste of the future racing. Because to well programmers instead of drivers to encourage…
