Subtle external changes, but a cup of more power.
In 1975, presented Porsche’s very first 911 Turbo, the 930 with drielitermotor. In 1978 they were replaced by a specimen with a volume of 3.3 litres. This copy is a very early Turbo 3.3, 1978, originally delivered in the USA. Only in 1989 was this instance the RUF BTR-treatment, where the engine was opgeboord to 3.4 litres.
Provides a standard 930 Turbo 3.3 a fine of 300 horsepower, the RUF BTR would be to 374 hp must be kicking. This car has because of olielekage in 2011 a complete revision for me at RUF and was then put on the roller set: 397 hp! The exterior changes in comparison to a standard 930 turbo are subtle. Much further than other wheels, a front spoiler, a RUF exhaust and ditto the steering wheel, the cosmetic changes do not.
The price for this sweet is 126.000 euros. For comparison: at the same dealer is also a beautiful original Turbo 3.3 with a quarter of the miles and an insanely red interior for 129.000 euro. Choices, choices… by the way the BTR is not the holy grail if it’s put on by RUF under construction 930’s comes, that is the legendary CTR ” Yellowbird’.
