Police do raids at SS

DORTMUND –

The German police have the homes of three former SS examined. It comes to members of the SS-panzer division hitler youth, which are suspected being involved in the murder of 86 inhabitants of the Northern French city of Lille.

That the special prosecutor in Dortmund, germany, Friday announced.

The suspects live in places in the federal states of Saxony and lower Saxony. All three have declared a member of the division to have been but denied that they with the executions, to have had. On 1 april 1944, attacked members of the Hitlerjugenddivisie the town as a result of sabotage against a German freight train. 86 people were the victims of the reprisal by the SS.

Also the members of the division who are not the accused, are raids done. At a few were documents seized, said the prosecutor.
