Founder of Jefferson Airplane died
SAN FRANCISCO –
Paul Kantner, one of the co-founders of the legendary psychedelic rock band Jefferson Airplane on Thursday at the age of 74 in San Francisco died.

He died of a heart attack that he a few days earlier. Reports that the band on his website.
Kantner was the guitarist and singer of the band, who in 1965 was established and became world-famous with hits like Somebody to Love and White Rabbit. It is notable that during the nineteen years that he was in Jefferson Airplane played, he’s never been one of the hits of the band wrote or vocals to take over. Singer Grace Slick was the face of the band, Kantner as the brain. He was without a doubt the core of almost everything to be turned. Also the other band members considered him as a leader.
He changed even the name of the band, Jefferson Starship because he was interested in science fiction. The relationship with Slick continued to spread to their private lives. They got in 1971, together with a daughter, China Wing, and made two albums. The famous music magazine Rolling Stone called him, and Grace ,,the psychedelic John and Yoko”. In the eighties he left Jefferson Starship and played in the KBC Band.
