Afsluitdijk closed after megacrash [updated]

The Afsluitdijk in the direction of Noord-Holland is closed, after earlier this morning at Breezanddijk multiple cars with caravans and a motorhome together clapped.

The cause of the crash is unclear, but the fact is that the traffic in the direction of Noord-Holland should have at least an hour. Motorists are advised to go through the Flevopolder (A6) to drive. Imagery we find in the following tweet, from eyewitness Rienk Kramer:

There is a traumaheli detected, indicating that there is in any case a seriously injured. In 2011, it was also quite wrong on the Afsluitdijk, at the time under slippery conditions.

Update 16:30: now there is a lane to be released, reports the VID, but there is still considerable delay.
