Damn son….
This was once a tough shiny 2001 Corvette Z06 ‘Mallett Hammer’, until the ground under his tires washed away, and he suddenly moved, along with 7 other unique Corvettes, in a metersdiep hole. Yesterday he was number 8 of 8 from his muddy position freed. Or what’s left of it at least.
As you can see, the gear lever is about the only thing that still stands on the car, this instance was particularly bekaaid. He was also buried deep under a thick layer of debris. The Corvette Museum is, however, intends it to its former glory to restore, though that is a bit time consuming.
The Road Hammer was a by Chuck Mallett to 700 hp tuned red C5 Corvette Z06 with a lovely sound, not too long ago the museum was donated.
There are also voices for the salvaged cars as they are, as a kind of commemoration, but as yet, the museum remains at the aforementioned restoration plan. Until August, the public can see the damaged models on display, after that, the restaurateurs, their magic work. At least We can say that this whole situation for the Americans is a blessing in disguise.
