Square is an app that lets you accept payments from customers bot in person and simply over the Web. While you can use the “square” device they give you to scan credit cards with your phone, this isn’t necessary.

   Fill out your Square login info and click “Sign in” in the top right corner.

   Click the “Accept payments” link at the top of the sign in screen.

   Select a country for accepting payments in the next screen, such as the United States.

   Fill out your personal info and click the blue “Continue” button. This will include your name, social security number, and so on.
