British military personnel to Nigeria to terror

LONDON –

Great Britain will send this year to three hundred military personnel to Nigeria to contribute to the fight against terreurbeweging Boko Haram in the north of that country. The British will the Nigerian army to advise and train. The first 35 soldiers are soon to be broadcast, reported the British ministry of Defense Wednesday.

The British help in the destruction of improvised bombs and are responsible for medical training. Also get the Nigerian armed forces assistance in the gathering of intelligence. Last year there were 130 British soldiers active in Nigeria.

President Muhammadu Buhari of Nigeria said at the end of last year, told the BBC that Boko Haram in his country is almost completely defeated. The movement would no longer be able launch attacks on security forces or major cities.
