At CES 2016, which was held from 6 to 9 January in Las Vegas, ASUS unveiled its new chromebook — C202 Chromebook. This model is in a rugged enclosure, focused on the use of students.
Chromebook got rubber bumper with reinforced parts of the hull, protected from the Strait keyboard, scratchproof coating and the SSD is resistant to shock. Moreover, according to the manufacturer, Chromebook C202, for the first time in the industry received a modular design, easy to change major components such as keyboard, power connector and battery. Complete disassembly of the device is possible in a few simple steps and using simple tools.
The laptop is running Chrome OS, equipped with 11.6-inch display with a resolution of 1366 x 768 pixels, Intel Celeron N3060, 2 or 4 GB of RAM, 16 GB flash drive. Supported by selecting Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n or 802.11 ac, two USB 3.0 ports, HDMI and SD card reader. The battery life reaches 10 hours. As expected, sales will begin in February for a suggested price of $220.
