Chinese resource cnBeta reported rather contradictory news about the forthcoming compact smartphone from Apple. According to sources associated with Foxconn, the model will be called iPhone 5e and characteristics will be significantly easier than was previously expected.
iPhone 5e, ostensibly, is an “advanced” (enhanced) version of the iPhone 5s. It will have the Apple A8 processor and 1 GB of RAM, whereas earlier it was reported A9 and 2 GB of RAM. Also mentions 16 GB of internal flash memory and the option for 64GB. Main camera remains the same as the iPhone 5s at 8 MP.
iPhone 5e should become lighter and thinner, as well as to acquire NFC for Apple Pay service and calls in the VoLTE standard. iPhone 5e is expected to be issued in February-March 2016 and cost about $ 500.
