Porsche is going the last few years very hard for the afzetcijfers, and will therefore not be eligible for exemption from any environmental requirements. Elektrificering can but up to a certain height, so why not a supermini?
Provided, above photoshop (coming from the video cards from X-Tomi) is exactly that: a funny mix sprouted in the mind of someone who is certainly not the product planning in Zuffenhausen. But a little bit of daydreaming is allowed.
After all, Aston Martin also came with a (very successful) Cygnet, and the market seems more than ever ready to be a staggering high amount down to count for compact cars, full of luxury from the segments above them. See also the MINI Inspired by Goodwood for what that concerns.
The pillars remain with Porsche, of course, untouched: the 911 (and 918) for the image, the Cayenne, Macan and Panamera for sales, and the Boxster/Cayman around it. A ‘Pajun‘ is, moreover, not unlikely, especially since the 911 will not continue to grow from the boss.
But why not further niches to fill, and with an supermini Audi A1-based? 2.0 litre boxer engine in it and go with that banana. Or are we shooting now?
