Jaguar XE will get Supercharged V6 from F-Type

That is nice and straps smoke in the English competitor for the German premium sedans.

One of the taglines for the yet-to-reveal Jaguar XE is “Emissions Impossible” but luckily we get not only CO2-neutral stuff under the hood but also the deliciously smooth V6 from the F-Type. Jaguar UK has on its website confirmed that the Supercharged V6 for the XE. That block is in the F-Type S Coupé good for a nice 380 hp and 460 Nm of torque. More than enough to keep bands nice to do smoking, I can tell you from a reliable source report.

In the XE (which is against the BMW 3 Series, Audi A4 and Mercedes C-Class to rogues) will this block no doubt for a lot of fun. The XE will be built on a new aluminium chassis and especially with the new motorenlijn Ingenium. That line will have as main theme “downsizing,” to know and to consist of diesel and petrol engines with CO2 emissions below 100 grams. The new XE later this year, will be revealed and will come in 2015 in the Netherlands on the market.
