Court of appeals confirms prison sentence Mubarak

CAIRO –

An Egyptian appeals court has a term of imprisonment of three years against the former president Hosni Mubarak for corruption confirmed. Also the appeal of the two sons of Mubarak against the same accusation, the court rejected, reported the news site Al-Ahram Saturday.

The three had, according to the prosecutor, with embezzled money private luxewoningen bought. The 87-year-old ex-president and his sons Alaa and Gamal were in the first instance to prison sentences for convicted in may 2014.
