At CES 2016, which runs from 6 to 9 January in Las Vegas, Lenovo and Google announced the joint development of the world’s first smartphone Project Tango, designed for ordinary consumers and not developers.
Technical details about the smartphone so far not too much. He will get a screen diagonal of less than 6.5 inches. The prototype includes a 4-megapixel rear camera with lens-type “fish eye” with an angle of view of 180 degrees, front-facing camera with lens angle of 120 degrees, and the camera depth estimation.
We will remind, in August at a conference for developers IDF 2015 in San Francisco, Google and Intel introduced the developer kit Project Tango Development Kit intended for smartphones with a three-dimensional camera Intel RealSense 3D.
As part of Project Tango, Google has just released a special tablet Project Tango Tablet Development Kit, which is designed for professional developers interested in research themes 3D-scanning of space.
