Pouw Automotive Group bankruptcy [updated]

One of the large dealer holdings of the Netherlands, the Pouw group, has just been declared bankrupt. For 10 Peugeotdealers is suspension requested, the VW – and Audi-activities of Pouw remain outside shot.

Pouw, at the end of 2012 accounted for 23 sales offices throughout the world with an average turnover of 570 vehicles per establishment*, wrong for quite some time now in very heavy weather.

At the end of last year, we were still wondering whether the holding the storm would pass. The answer was this morning, when the group was declared bankrupt, reports the FD. According to the newspaper for ten Peugeot dealerships suspension requested.

For the lease – and rental companies Lease Unlimited, Auto Lease Zwolle and Pouw Rental, and the Volkswagen – and Audi-dealers Pouw has filed for bankruptcy with no consequences. These components show healthy financial results and the activities with the support of the importer and financiers continued.
