Achteruitrijcamera verplicht in Amerika
All cars, buses, trucks, etc that are less than (roughly) to 4,500 kilos from 2018 standard with a backup camera. Has a car as a system, not? Then this may not be the way.

Since 2008, in the U.S. there is a lobby going on to reversing camera’s. Die every year because too many people, mainly children, because they are accidentally run over. Therefore, it is now a rule which would require manufacturers to make all vehicles as from 1 may 2018 to be built standard with a reversing camera. This applies only to vehicles with a weight of less than 10,000 pounds (slightly more than 4,500 kilos).

From 1 may 2016, manufacturers are already required to 10% of their cars standard with a backup camera. In 2017 increases that percentage to 40% and from 1 may 2018, all new cars are to be built on such a system. It is not that existing vehicles will need to be adjusted.

In 2018 would be the mounting of such a system manufacturers only about $132 to $142 costs, and if there is already a large display, which is often the case, then drop the costs to about $43 to $45. Annually in the United States about 210 people, mostly children, due to accidents as a result of reversing. Another 15,000 people are annually injured.

If (American) consumer, you will end up a little more for your car payment, but the amount of fatalities will decrease substantially. Maybe they have this also but in Europe require?
