Obama: U.S. must act against gun violence

WASHINGTON –

U.s. president Barack Obama has on Tuesday in an emotional plea to his regeringsplan for stricter rules on gun control defended.

Earlier in the day were the new guidelines for the sale of firearms already presented. Sellers must now obtain a licence for their trade and it is required to have more thorough background research to do into buyers.

The American recherchedienst FBI will be 230 new researchers and staff appoint for the doing of such background checks. That is a doubling of the team that is now responsible.

I believe that we ways to find gun violence to decrease in accordance with the constitutional right to keep and bear arms,” said Obama. The president underlined that the new rules are not intended to be ,,everyone’s weapons to take away”.
