CES 2016: Huawei launches premium phablet Mate 8 international

At CES 2016, which runs from 6 to 9 January in Las Vegas, Huawei introduced the Mate 8 smartphone on an international scale. Recall, the original announcement for the Chinese market took place in November 2015.

It is a flagship device with an impressive screen diagonal of 6 inches. It is enclosed in aluminum case four choices of colors, and the screen is closed by glass 2.5 D with rounded edges.

The display resolution is Full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels). Hardware platform became a OCTA-core HiSilicon Kirin 950, 3 GB or 4 GB of RAM memory, 32 GB or 64 GB of internal flash memory, supports microSD card up to 128 GB. The main camera has a sensor Sony IMX298 with a resolution of 16 megapixels and aperture f/2.0, while the front — 8 MP Sony IMX179 and aperture of f/2.4.



The battery capacity is 4000 mAh. You can also note the fingerprint sensor. Smartphone running the latest operating system Android 6.0 Marshmallow with the shell EMUI OS 4.0.

The exact dates of production outside of China has yet to be announced, but in the Chinese market it comes out in the first quarter of 2016. Huawei Mate 8 will go on sale at the price of 599 euros for the version with 3 GB of RAM and 32 GB of internal flash memory, 699 euros for the version with 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of internal flash memory.
