Blunder with the memorial of Charlie Hebdo

Paris –

The commemoration of the attacks on the editorial staff of Charlie Hebdo in Paris, today exactly one year ago, is marred by a sloppy error. At a memorial is one of the names of the murdered cartoonists misspelled.

The last name of Georges Wolinski (80) is on the monument erroneously spelled with a Greek y. The plaque was presented by president Francois Hollande and Paris ‘ mayor Anne Hidalgo unveiled on the spot where the editors of Charlie Hebdo at the time of the attack was. The employees were moved to a secret location.

The commemoration was broadcast on the French tv and the error instantly fell many viewers. On social media, spoke to people there shame of. Also the dignitaries escaped the blunder. After the unveiling, the plaque was quickly covered again with a bunch of flowers. The error will be promptly restored.

The other victims of the attack have also a memorial received: agent Merabet Ahmed, who is on the street in cold blood was executed by one of the perpetrators, and in Porte de Vicennes of the three customers and an employee of a Jewish supermarket by the muslim terrorists to death, were hunted.
