Also Bahrain stops traffic with Iran

MANAMA –

After the breaking-off of diplomatic relations with Iran has Golfstaat Bahrain now also the air traffic with the country stopped. Thus, responding to the kingdom on the escalation of the conflict between its ally Saudi Arabia and shiite Iran.

Already on Monday, Bahrain closed its diplomatic representation in Tehran to close. That was in protest against the attacks on the Saudi embassy in the Iranian capital last weekend. The Iranian anger was the result of the execution of 47 convicts in Saudi Arabia, who are the shiite spiritual Nimr al-Nimr.

Also, Saudi Arabia has diplomatic relations with Iran is cancelled and all flights from and to the country is prohibited.
