Priest gets fifteen years in prison for abuse
LEEDS –
A British priest is Monday, sentenced to fifteen years in prison, because he between 1970 and 1991 approximately ten boys has been abused. The man, now 69, worked at a boarding school for children with behavioural problems. A 75-year-old former teacher at the institution received nine years in prison. Both defendants were previously sentenced for the abuse.

According to the British Public Ministry were the victims of approximately twelve years old. It came to children who from home were removed and the boarding school were placed.
The boarding school Saint William’s Boy’s Home in Market Weighton, to the southeast of the city of York, closed its doors in 1992. It fell directly under the diocese. More than 170 people had in recent years complained about sexual abuse at the boarding school.
