LG Display show at the start of CES 2016, which will be held from 6 to 9 January in Las Vegas, its new development — OLED panel which can be minimized almost like a newspaper. 18-inch panel was announced in summer 2014, and now the developer will show it in all its glory to the public.
The flexible display has a resolution of 1200 x 810 with pixel density 80ppi, and is able to fold into a tube with a diameter of only 3 cm without compromising image quality.
As previously reported, on the rear panel of the specified display instead of the usual plastic used is a special polyamide film, and he soon may find application in TVs and computer engineering, providing additional protection against damage.
