The Saab 9-3 came on the market in 2003 and was sold as a sedan, SportCombi and convertible, the cabriolet, however, we have already treated, so we will be in this video concentrate on the sedan and the SportCombi.

The 9-3 is built on the GM Epsilon platform, which the Opel Vectra based. In 2008 there was a version with XWD (all wheel drive) on the market. In that year there was also a significant facelift made to the Saab 9-3 in terms of both in – and exterior of a piece of begerenswaardiger made.. • Prices start around the 2000 euro for an instance with approximately three tonnes on the clock. A fresh copy of the latest model years are going for about €25,000 euros, with a rare peak of €30,000 euros.

Pros

• Fine, comfortable car.
• Reliable
• Richly equipped.
• Neat appearance, Saab remains a separate brand.

Issues

• Voorveren break sometimes, that is identified by a “ploink” sound sometimes, but usually it is not until the MOT forward.
• The upper arms on the rear would like to play exhibit if they are more than one and a half tonnes of behind the choose have, in part to recognize slanted worn or gecupte tires.
• Cars from 2006 were sensitive to regenwaterlekkage through the particle filter, but here is a cap of a few tens. This is to order and install at the dealer.
• Ignition switches are hit, sometimes polluted as a result of the placement in the center console. Keys are a kind of soft-touch rubber that dirty feel and piece. New keys can be ordered from the dealer.
• Navigation is sometimes piece, especially when used with imitation cds.
• Especially with the more powerful versions: check tire wear, especially on the front.
• Sunroofs are prone to leaks and sometimes piece.
• The 1.8 i has a timing belt every 90.000 miles needs to be replaced. The diesels have every 150,000 km new timing belt is needed.
• All engines except the 1.8 i have a turbo, the 1.8 t is (contrary to what the name suggests) a 2.0 liter block.
