Afghan army frees 59 man of Taliban

KABUL –

Special units of the Afghan army have Sunday, 59 people liberated who have been detained by the Taliban. The group was detained in the southern province of Helmand and is according to a legerwoordvoerder out of 37 soldiers, seven police officers and fifteen civilians.

NATO forces were only in the background at the surgery involved. The forces in Afghanistan fighting in the area for months against fighters of the Taliban.
