Toyota TS040 HYBRID: racing car with 1000 horsepower

With 1,000 horsepower hybrid race car is going to Toyota, the battle with Audi during the next 24 Hours of Le Mans. Please note: this Toyota has just one petrol engine in the back and lie down and no diesel engine like Audi.

The Toyota TS040 HYBRID is the successor to the TS030 HYBRID in 2012 and 2013 was used at Le Mans and in other long distance races. A big difference compared to the TS030 is that the TS040 has four-wheel drive, like the Audi R18.

In the back is a 3.7-litre V8 which, without turbo, 520 hp supplies. In addition, there are two electric motors provided jointly 480 hp supply. Added you on 1000 horsepower. On the front axle is an electric motor from AISIN to find and on the rear axle is a copy of the DENSO mounted.
