Well, the appearance of this piece of homework will not win prizes, but yet we have respect for this man. The reason for this? That is located under the hood.

The Brit Nick Truman looked at the collection of fellow countryman, Peter Saywell and thought: “I wanna do that”. A modest wallet requires creative solutions and so tapped Truman for a £ 100 Ford Granada (here known as Scorpio) from 1990 on the head. A schaalmodelletje of the Zonda was used as a base and the large knutselavontuur could begin.

That adventure, of course, was accompanied with blood, sweat and tears. So lost Truman the tip of his finger in the turbo, then the part of the body through the exhaust to the outside lap. Also got the V12 of the Jaguar that was initially in the car top serving overheated and blew out Truman is the Audi V8 which followed.

Currently the car is powered by a V8 from Audi that is equipped with two (carnivorous) turbo’s. So the Pagani Granada F more than 500 horsepower to its disposal, which find their way via a gearbox for £ 5 of eBay it was picked.

So far the good news, because the appearance is of course not really to about to home pens. In addition, the project that eventually some 15,000 pound cost, unfortunately, not straatlegaal in England. On the other hand, Truman is a lot of fun with the construction and he also have a Ferrari 308 GT4 Dino in the garage. Lucky bastard!
