Arrest in search of the Molenbeek

BRUSSELS –

The Belgian police Wednesday in Sint-Jans-Molenbeek a search warrant carried out in the framework of the investigation into the attacks in Paris. This is a person taken for interrogation. Also in another terrorismeonderzoek, that is completely separate from the attacks in Paris, is a search done, but no results. That reports The Newspaper, and is confirmed by the federal public prosecutor’s office.

The search warrant in the investigation of the attacks in Paris took place in the Delaunoystraat, where the fugitive Salah Abdeslam three days after the attacks in Paris weggeglipt would be. It is not yet clear whether the arrested person is brought before the examining magistrate. According to The Newspaper, it would go to a friend of Salah Abdeslam.
