To mankind for many thousands of years, but until recently we had no evidence of the existence of this huge creation: a mythical giant squid was first photographed in 2004, and the first video appeared at all in 2012. Now there is a new video, which captured a giant octopus, floating just off the coast of Japan.
Sources indicate that the length of the discovered octopus exceeds 4 meters and a width of over one meter. Oceanographer Edith Widder once said:
“How could something so big live in our ocean and stay nesassary until recently? We have only explored 5 percent of our ocean. Ahead of us still waiting for a wonderful opening, fantastic creatures, the fruit of millions of years of evolution. The study of the ocean, we spent only a small part of what is spent on space exploration. We need organization like NASA that will study the ocean, because we need to study and protect life on Earth.”
