Moscow authorities have detected a new year rising prices for PCs and components

The Department of information technology of Moscow shared the results of the monitoring of the purchasing power of Muscovites in the field of information and communication technologies. As it turned out, Moscow’s prices on electronics and services in December increased significantly. This is most evident in the cost of PCs, notebooks and accessories for the PC.



So, from November 23 to December 21, laptops on average have risen by 5%, graphics card — 11.6%, displays — 8%, HDD — 4%. According to analysts, the main cause was the change in currency exchange rates.

If in August 2015 has been overcome the psychological barrier of 50 thousand rubles for the PC, now the average price of a desktop monitor is about 53 thousand rubles. The average price of a laptop in Moscow is 33.3 thousand, compared to almost 70 thousand rubles.

Compared to December 2014 prices for digital equipment increased on average by 27.5% in rubles but in foreign currency has been decreasing by 4%.
