Bavaria: Austrian border check
BERLIN –
The German bondspolitie has too few staff to the German-Austrian border adequately to check. The employees are so busy with the vluchtelingencrisis that there is insufficient control of the organized crime. Also, the threat of international terrorism “immense”.

That says, the Interior minister of the German state of Bavaria, Joachim Herrmann (CSU), in Welt am Sonntag. He would prefer that Bavaria itself is to be responsible for the monitoring of the border. But the government has that offer declined. Herrmann says there is “no understanding” to have, given the security risks. “We even five weeks after the attacks in Paris, and despite the big danger is no reliable checks have been entered, a certification of incapacity.”
If Herrmann is the influx of refugees brought to a stop. “There are still up to 4,000 asylum seekers per day through the border with Bavaria. That number should you don’t trivialize. We must ensure that the influx to an average of 1,000 refugees per day will be reduced.” Herrmann wants to be in 2016 at the most, over 350,000 foreign nationals enter, and not again more than a million, as this year the case is.
