Barnfind: first ever BMW M1, built by Lamborghini

Just when you think that the wonders of the world, open your Ebay for the first time ever-built BMW M1 in a rather sketchy ad.

Originally called the BMW help of Lamborghini for the development of the chassis of the M1 as well as the production. In 1977 were the first prototypes built, but soon decided to BMW that the deal with Lamborghini of the table had. The Italian manufacturer was in need of money, and also about the quality of the prototypes seemed to be in Munich, not entirely happy. A number of ex-employees of Lamborghini completed the development, the production was from 1978 to 1981 at Baur.

One of the seven by Lamborghini built prototypes now seems to have surfaced in Germany. That is in itself particularly, but it is also to car #001. The very first BMW M1 ever so. An extremely rare and historically important car, and it is all the more striking how unfamiliar and not great the ad is.

Lyrically, there is so little attention to the ad spend. We also see the car on the photos tiny photos only from the front.
