Lexus has a set of rims and tires from ice make sculpture for the NX 300h. Holy braking distance Batman!

The wheels were by four men in 36 hours time. Oh, and we’re so over each wheel separately. The total cost of the manufacturing of the wheels so 144 hours. For the make of the wheels were laser used, but the hard work was done by a bunch of specialists in making ice sculptures. In total, there are three months working on the design and development of the wheels.

Those who think that the only once standing joke is, will be disappointed! Lexus made the NX 300h five days at -25 degrees Celsius in cold storage. The reason for these wheels (which, incidentally, LED lighting are provided for the show) is actually pretty simple: after the Game, and the Origami-car, it was time for a new project in the category “not because you must, but because it can”.
