Large cocaïnevangst in Poland

WARSAW –

The Polish police has 178 kilos of cocaine in a batch of bananas from South America discovered. The drugs from Colombia have a retail price of only 25 million euro. It is one of the largest drug seizures ever in Poland, said a politiewoordvoerder.

The party was in a Belgian port in a lorry and brought to Poland. The forty-year driver of the truck is held. It is not yet clear whether the cocaine was intended for the Polish market or further smuggled would be to another country.
